Minisite

Designed for authors who don't have their own website, this is a multi-page minisite generated from their Smashwords page. It has:

• Purchase Links to third parties like Barnes and Noble.
• Social Networking integration
• Author and individual book pages

We can only provide this for family-friendly content (due to terms of hosting), so anything that is not work-safe will be removed. The sites are created on first visit, but may be blocked or removed if the content is adult.

If you are a Smashwords user, you can create your minisite by going to the URL below, replacing YourAccountName with your Smashwords account name:

About

These are meant to solve a few issues: first, it puts the third party purchase links in one place, so users can see the books and buy on their preferred site, making it easier to get sales. Second, it makes a website easily and freely available to Smashwords authors who are not able to set one up.

This will work for publishers as well as authors, but probably won't be useful to them as most publishers have their own site.
